360 LiteKey Maximus Lite-On Rebuild

The 360 LiteKey by Maximus is an advanced version of the Lite-On rebuild board, this little device serves as not only a rebuild PCB for the Lite-On 83850 V2 & 93450 V3, but it also acts as a Vampire spear as well, so all you need to do with the 360 LiteKey is install it and use the Xtractor Pro, or the 360 power unit from the USB Xtractor to then do a full firmware dump of your drive. But that’s not the only function of this neat little invention, as some of you may know, when using the LT firmware on the Lite-On 83850 V2 & 93450 V3 drives, before you accept any updates for the 360 console you should really flash the firmware on your drive back to its original state before doing the update, this is where the Maximus 360 LiteKey really shines, because after installation there is no need to open the drive again to be able to do this, the 360 LiteKey can auto switch between operational mode or firmware extraction mode, where if you were using something like the standard Lite-On rebuild board, to flash the drive back to its original state you would need to open the drive and use the Vampire to make the full dump needed to finalize the process, with Maximus 360 LiteKey that’s a thing of the past, after the first install there is no need to ever open the drive again.

We understand there are two markets, one that wants the cheapest solution for their customers which would be to install the Lite-On rebuild PCB and use the Vampire and tell the customers not to do updates at all, and the other market will be for people that are flashing their own drives and want to have the option of being able to return the drive to its original state so they can do the updates and be able to do this without having to open up the drive every time and use the Vampire etc, so it really depends on your market or the user if you decide to use the LiteKey, we think for people that are using a device like the Blaster CK3 on a Lite-On 83850 V2 & 93450 V3 drive, the 360 LiteKey is a must, there is no way you want to be opening your drive every time you want to return it to an original state to update the console, it defeats the purpose of the Blaster CK3 which is made to make sure you don’t have to open your console again once installed, so for Blaster CK3 users that own a Lite-On 83850 V2 & 93450 V3 drive, the LiteKey really is a must have product.
