The Apple 75k mod chip is compatible with v1 - v15 consoles, they also work 100% with the new SCPH-7500x & 7700x PSTwo consoles. The Apple 75k is another chip that supports all versions of PS2 using the Magic ICE code. We have found that Magic ICE chips perform extremely well in earlier model PS2’s, many customers buy them just to use in the older version consoles due to their stability and reliability. They also function quite well in the new model PSTwo, good thing about the Apple 75k chips is their price and features for the money. The Apple 75k can perform most of the functions of the more costly chips at a lower price. They work with Dual Layer and support all Region DVD using Exploit mode. If you are looking for a cheaper version of the Duo3, this is it.
Unlike the H20, the Apple 75k does not come with a fix for the v12 problem, so if you are planing on using these chips in a v12, you will need to apply a SubZero fix. But with that said the Apple 75k works great in all other console models and is another choice for those out there looking for a solution from v0 to v15 consoles.
