These PS3 laser are a brand new replacement KEM-400AAA for all current PS3 consoles. If your console has already started getting dirty disk errors and skipping in games, or the console was dropped and damaged. These brand new PS3 replacement laser model KEM-400AAA will solve your problem.
Please note that this model KEM-400AAA is the complete unit including the chassis, as seen in the photo below. Be careful not to mix them up with model KES model which are just the laser by itself.
