These are a replacement HOP-1401 laser also known as a HOP-141x that can be used in the Xbox 360 BenQ VAD6038 or Lite-On drives, they support all model Lite-On drives as well. If your BenQ VAD6038 or Lite-On drive is getting read errors or no longer reading anything at all, there is a good chance the laser has died and these brand new HOP-1401 / 141x laser will fix the problem. Note like most laser replacements the HOP-1401 / 141x have an anti-static point in place and needs to be removed with a soldering iron before installation. If you don’t have a soldering iron on request we can remove it before shipping, just make a note in the comments box at checkout that you would like it removed from the laser before we ship.
