These are an Xecuter CoolRunner Nand-X programming cable which can be used in conjunction with the Nand-X to program your CoolRunner boards for installation over USB. Do note that these cables can only be used if your Nand-X has been updated to NandPro 3 firmware, to do this you need to re-program your Nand-X using a CK3 or CK3i along with the Xecuter Nand-X to CK3 update cable which we also sell. Once your Nand-X has been updated to NandPro 3 you will be able to use these cables to quickly and simply program your CoolRunner boards for installation over USB. We feel these cables are going to be the most popular way to program your CoolRunner boards and so we will make sure we always have plenty in stock. The process for using these Xecuter Nand-X to CoolRunner programming cables will be made simple, fast and effective just like any Xecuter product.
You can also use the old school LPT JTAG programming cables to program the CoolRunner boards and we also sell the official Xecuter version of these cables, but they require you have a LPT port on your PC, so for most these Xecuter CoolRunner Nand-X programming cables are the way to go. The only slight painful thing about these is the fact you need to update your Nand-X to be able to use them and means you need to buy a CK3i if you don’t already own a CK3 Pro & one of the programming cables to update the Nand-X before you can use them, but really anyone serious about getting into installing the CoolRunner boards should not have any problem with getting a couple of bits of useful hardware to make it happen.
