These are the Xecuter CoolRunner QSB corona upgrade boards which have been released for people to be able to upgrade their CR rev a, b & c to support RGH on the Corona 16MB Xbox 360 Slim motherboards. They are a simple QSB board which once installed allows you to use the CoolRunner to Glitch the Xbox 360 Slim corona 16MB motherboards. We were not going to stock these at first because we thought the CR v3 was really close to release, but they have had some delays in production and we know some people don’t want to wait and so we have stocked these Xecuter QSB CR upgrade corona boards so you can start glitching right now. Boot times using these are pretty good and we think is a viable solution while we all wait for the next gen of CR to be released.
Xecuter was the first to announce they had got RGH working on the 16MB Corona motherboards and in July they released the code so people could use it on current gen CoolRunners to give it a try while they kept working on CR v3 along with RGH 3. Initially people were expected to buy a 48.000MHz crystal and solder it onto their CR to upgrade them to work with the new Corona code, but not long after they announced these simple and effective QSB CR upgrade corona boards. So if you are hanging to hook into the Corona’s with the current gen CR’s then these upgrade boards will be your best bet.
