The Xecuter CoolRunner QSB Slim boards are used in conjunction with a CoolRunner Glitch board installation for a quicker and neater install, QSB is short for quick solder boards and their purpose is to make the installation quicker and neater. The Xecuter CoolRunner QSB Slim boards solder directly onto the Xbox 360 Slim motherboard and then the wires from the CoolRunner are then soldered to the Slim QSB for a much neater and stronger connection. While these are not a requirement for a CoolRunner install it’s been recommend by Xecuter that they be used for a more trouble free and neater experience when doing a CoolRunner install on the Xbox 360 Slim consoles. The cost of the Xecuter CoolRunner QSB Slim boards is not really that much and will give you peace of mind that the installation is as solid as can be and is the way Xecuter recommends it be done. So if you are after the neatest and quickest way to do a CoolRunner install on an Xbox 360 Slim these Xecuter CoolRunner QSB Slim version add-on’s are the way to go.
