Well the team is on a roll atm, so many great new products being released. Here we have the teams latest the Xecuter Sonus 360 Trinity QSB, these are used on Xbox 360 Slim consoles that have the Trinity motherboards in them. These little boards allow you to change the start-up sound of limited edition consoles by soldering in this little QSB board and using the J-R Programmer to re-program your consoles start-up sound with the Sonus 360 Editor software. Note for people without a limited edition console you will also need to buy the Sonus 360 Speaker add-on pack as well, this is because the non-limited edition consoles didnít come with a speaker. You will know if you have a limited edition console because it will already boot up with a special sound like Star Wars for example.
Right now there are a few different start-up sounds to choose from, we are sure more will be added over time. Right now you can choose from GOW 3, Modern Warfare 3, Star Wars, Halo Reach, standard or custom where you can select your own sound to write to the console. We think lots of people will have fun with the custom sound as you can really personalize the sound your console makes when it boots.
The Sonus 360 is just for Slim consoles atm, there is a possibility of support being added for Phat consoles later on. No RGH or JTag is required to use these cool little devices, you will however have to know what you are doing with a soldering iron, while not super complex it might not be for people that have never soldered before. These QSB are used on Trinity motherboards only, if you have a Corona you will need to get that model QSB.
